Sadly, I was reading a story about an American couple who just won the lottery somewhere in the States. They were fortunate enough to win a $1 million dollar lottery, after taxes and what not...they walked away with just over $340 000. Wha Wha What?! That's crazy. I mean $340 000 is no kick in the pants, that's still pretty freaking incredible, but to lose well over half to taxes?! Insanity.
